Welcome to our unpretentious hotel with a long family tradition ! The Hotel Alpenrose is the oldest hotel in Wengen and has been operated by the same family for over a hundred years. The 40 rooms and the lounges have been recently renovated and kept in an alpine chaletstyle with lots of wood. Along with a log fire the lounge invites you to enjoy a relaxing evening after a long dayout and about in the mountains. Start the day with a hearty breakfast from our buffet in the dining room where we also serve a fine sethalf board meal in the evening. The Hotel Alpenrose is situated about 10 walking minutes below the train station and the village centre in a quiet and pleasant location with stunning views into the beautiful valley of Lauterbrunnen and the surrounding snowcapped mountains.
